It's the Funky Foodies Podcast
Funky Foodies features three tweens: Frankie- a non-binary science nerd who has two dads, an annoying 6-year-old brother, and a pet turtle named Shelly, and Fern- an artsy redhead who plays the trombone and whose mom, Gloria (who prefers being called “Glow”), is a beehive-wearing waitress at the Greasy Spoon diner. Fern moved to Mooretown (which Frankie aptly calls “Boretown”) and they share their first encounter at the middle school cafetorium, where they discover their mutual interest in food as it relates to environmental concerns. And don't forget the newest Funky- Zara who (when she's not planting saplings or practicing her skateboarding tricks) visits Moretown from the City and spends lots of time with her Auntie A.They form an alliance, pledging to, “Save the Planet, One Veggie Burger at a Time” by taking action that can really make a difference, thereby empowering other kids to know that they can be impactful, too.
