Meet Frankie!

Hi! I'm Frankie (they/them), age 13 1/4, and a (mostly) straight-A student at Boretown (officially Mooretown) Middle School. I'll start by introducing my family unit. My little brother, Izzy, age 6, is the most annoying human on Planet Earth, but I pretty much love him anyway. Oh, yeah, and I like to pluck tunes on my banjo when the mood strikes. My pet turtle, Shelly, is 15 years old and Shelly is the only living thing I could truly confide in. Until Fern came along, that is. I do all the cooking at home since our two dads (Stu and Lou) are nerdy college professors who often have dinner plans on campus. Not to worry; cooking is totally in my culinary wheel house! Chemistry is my strawberry jam. And cooking always boils down to chemistry (so to speak). I store my favorite recipes on index cards in a vintage wooden card catalog our dad Stu retrieved when the college library went digital. Recipes are always modified from the original versions to tweak their flavor profiles. Always for the better, of course, in my never-too-overly-confident opinion! My fave snack food is apple slices!
